I was excited to see two great sons of Bayelsa State, Fortune Alfred and Dr. Mathew Ayibakuro as well as another another daughter of Niger Delta, Iniobong Udoh in the team.
Great that I was joined in the meeting by a member of the National Assembly from Bayelsa State, Hon. Fred Agbedi, Secretary to our State Government, Alabo Gideon Ekeuwei, the Acting Chief of Staff, Dr. Peter Akpe and my Executive Assistant, Policy and Government Strategy, Dr. Patterson Ogon.
It was a great meeting where I shared the vision of the State with the team in the area of infrastructure, education and skills development.
I look forward to a more robust dialogue and mutual understanding to achieve sustainable development and I have requested that the team be invited to participate in the forthcoming Bayelsa Investment and Development Summit.
On the Governorship Election in which I am seeking re-election based on our landmark performance in different sector, I advocated
better management of the electoral process to deepen democracy in the country.
